Your New Role
As a Marketing Manager, you will support the development & execution of local portfolio marketing strategy along with the Associate Director, Marketing Diabetes and Digital Collaboration and actively launch campaigns & sales execution in order to achieve short and long-term business objectives. You will act as brand champion to create enthusiasm and focus internally and closely work with external customers and agencies. You must understand relevant disease and market to develop customer insights through appropriate techniques/tools. You will also be responsible for:
- Analyse, understand, and interpret market insights and translate to simple & targeted communication and proactive development of marketing /promotional mix to meet brand objectives and customer needs.
- Utilize multi-channel tools to communicate key brand messages to market.
- Prepare annual / cyclic action / brand plans to meet business objectives. You will design innovative marketing campaigns that help sales team meet business objectives.
- Liaison with external agencies to deliver initiatives for brands and maintain constant touch with internal and external customers.
- Launch new products in line with local strategy and regional approval.
- With your natural instincts, you act in line with ethical standards, company procedures and Novo Nordisk Way of Management which includes Vision, Policies and Charter which describes our Values, Commitments and Fundamentals.
Your New Department
Novo Nordisk has been leading the diabetes market with significant market share in the GLP-1 RA segment. This team is responsible for marketing, business development and market insight gathering for inline and pipeline products in GLP-1 RA therapy areas with an ambitious team of professionals with strong business acumen, effective collaboration and innovative thinking.
Your Skills & Qualifications
- You hold a masters degree in management (MBA) from a reputed institution with Science / Pharma graduation with minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in core Marketing and Sales experience
- Good in communication and negotiation skills and should be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in consumer and digital marketing, including digital activation.
- A strong track record in thorough planning, execution and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind Client/Customer Facing roles will be an added advantage.
