Job Description
- As an Associate Database Administrator at NTT DATA, you will be an entry-level subject matter expert responsible for assisting in daily database administration tasks. Your main duties will include database monitoring, backup and recovery, user management, and data maintenance. You will work closely with Change Control, Release Management, Asset and Configuration Management, and Capacity and Availability Management to address user needs and ensure database security.
To succeed in this role, you should have a basic proficiency in database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning. You should also possess knowledge of SQL and database security principles. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, you should be able to troubleshoot database-related issues and implement effective solutions.
