Job Description
- As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your primary focus will be providing managed services to ensure the operational efficiency of our clients" IT infrastructure and systems. Your day-to-day activities will involve proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to support our clients effectively. You will monitor client infrastructure and solutions, investigate first-line incidents, and follow approved procedures for request fulfillment. Your responsibilities will include providing telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support, executing maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes, and ensuring smooth shift handovers for continuous service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to catch errors promptly
- Investigate first-line incidents and understand their root causes
- Follow approved procedures for request fulfillment
- Provide telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support
- Execute maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes
- Ensure smooth shift handovers for continuous service
- Identify opportunities for optimization and automation
- Occasionally support project work and disaster recovery functions and tests
Qualifications Required:
- Basic understanding in technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr and ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, Meraki switches, and common routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGrP

- Highly disciplined in handling tickets on a day-to-day basis
- Good understanding of using ITSM tools and processes
- Strong planning skills and adaptability to changing environments
- A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience
