Senior Product Manager - Capacity Planning For The Hybrid Cloud

The Opportunity
Nutanix is looking for a top notch Senior Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. This position requires a highly dedicated individual who can deliver results in a high growth, ever-evolving environment. With minimal supervision and working at the highest technical level of most phases of business analysis. This position collaborates with Business, Account teams, Engineering, Operations and Business Analytics teams to define and deliver processes and business value.

Job Responsibilities

• Should have a deep understanding of the capacity planning for the cloud, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that broadens capacity planning use cases, enable multi cloud solutions and enhance end to end user experience.
• Understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to shape the product strategy.
• Partner with key business and technical stakeholders to enhance current products and develop new ones. Own stakeholder management.
• Drive and project manage initiatives End to End from inception to delivery.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes for engineering teams to provide scalable solutions to Nutanix.
• Provide input into and oversight of product definition and solution design for requested new features and ux enhancements for internal systems.
• Deliver On Schedule, On Budget and On Scope Projects.
  
• Prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
• Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product success
• Act as the liaison business partners to manage business priorities, communicate changes in scope or schedule, and identify risks.
• Prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with a cross functional team.
  

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Exhibits keen interest and experience in working with evolving business models in a large scale, complex, transformational cloud based SaaS solutions.
• Should have a familiarity with data center concepts- compute / storage / virtualization /servers / cloud basics
• Ideally should have worked on infrastructure monitoring / reporting products.
• Proven work experience (5-8 years) in product management with an exposure to SaaS/Enterprise subscription.
• Proven ability to develop product and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
