Software Engineer, AI Mapping - Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA is seeking passionate AI engineers to drive innovation in mapping for Autonomous Vehicles. End-to-end models are the future of Autonomous Driving, and maps provide a prior to these models. Your work will help shape the intelligence behind the next generation of self-driving vehicles.
In this role, you will build state-of-the-art AI algorithms, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), Visual Language Models (VLMs), and graph-based deep learning. Hands-on expertise in generative AI frameworks and transformer-based models is key, with strong emphasis on applying this research to real-world mapping and navigation. What Youll Be Doing

• Research, and develop transformer based models tailored for graphs
• Implement evaluation frameworks to measure performance of large scale LLMs
• Design and develop algorithms for map-based driving products
• Analyze and fine-tune SOTA pretrained models on domain specific datasets
• Implement visualization tools for graph mining for navigation maps
  
• Integrate graph-structured data with for foundation generative AI models
  

What We Need To See

• PhD/Masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Applied Math, or related field with 3+ years of industry/research experience
• Strong mathematical fundamentals and AI/DL algorithms skills or experience
• Experience with AI/DL Frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, TensorRT etc.)
• Proven skills in programming, debugging, performance analysis, test design, and documentation

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Familiarity with any navigation maps such as NDS.Live, Open Street Maps (OSM) etc.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI techniques applied to LLMs and multimodal variants (Image, Video, Speech etc.)
• Exposure to large scale graph optimizations for AI-training
• Published work for international relevant conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICRA, etc).
