Job Description
- As a Systems Architecture Lead, you will be responsible for the development of systems and product architecture for advanced Application Processors. Your role will involve collaborating with hardware engineering, software engineering, and application/solutions engineering teams to create top-notch, scalable, and robust solutions that cater to the rigorous requirements of our advanced microprocessor products in Industrial, IOT, and Automotive Edge markets. This position demands a profound technical comprehension of MPU HW & SW architecture, Solutions Engineering, Use Case Analysis, Validation, Optimization, and system integration.
Your key responsibilities will include driving the definition and development of MPU architecture in alignment with market trends and industry standards. You will interact with product marketing teams and customers to comprehend and translate requirements into detailed specifications. Furthermore, you will be involved in defining scalable and efficient computing architectures encompassing multi-core processing, high-end CPU, DSP, Vision processing, Machine Learning, and memory hierarchy. Integration of security mechanisms such as secure boot, cryptographic accelerators, and trusted execution environments will also fall under your purview.
Collaboration with hardware, firmware, software, solutions/application engineering teams will be essential to ensure the smooth system-level integration of MPU product components. You will engage in power and performance benchmarking, analysis, and optimization, and develop strategies to enhance performance, energy efficiency, and thermal management without compromising reliability and scalability. Additionally, you will own key performance indicators for programs and steer optimization efforts, along with defining architectural guidelines, best practices, and documentation to steer product development teams.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 15 years or more relevant experience.
- Experience with use-case analysis and decomposition.
- Proficiency in Linux, Zephyr, Free RTOS, or similar operating systems.
- Strong understanding of microprocessor and microcontroller architectures, including CPU cores, DSP, memory management, and peripheral integration.
- Experience in system level performance optimization, low-power design, SW/HW co-design, and real-time processing.
- Familiarity with high-speed interconnects, memory architectures, DDR, PCIe, and bus protocols.
- Strong collaboration skills to work across multidisciplinary teams, including silicon, software, hardware, board design, and validation engineers.
- Experience in product development processes.

- Experience with ARM Cortex and/or RISC-V architecture.
- Expertise in media processing, vision and imaging applications.
- Knowledge of system-level simulation tools, hardware/software co-design, and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning Hardware IPs, tools, and architecture.
- Understanding of functional safety and security standards.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi integration, networking protocols, and secure wireless communication.,
