Job Description
- We are looking for an Audio Software Development Engineer with 5 years of experience to develop real-time embedded firmware and embedded Linux software for implementing advanced audio features. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing audio software for embedded platforms, designing and implementing ALSA drivers for audio hardware, and working with Audio DSP programming to enhance audio performance. Additionally, you will develop and maintain Linux drivers for audio devices, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio solutions into embedded systems, and perform debugging and troubleshooting on audio-related software and hardware issues.
Your role will also involve optimizing software performance for low-latency audio processing, conducting thorough testing and validation of audio systems and software, and keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded audio technology to apply them to projects. You will be expected to document technical specifications and processes related to audio software development, demonstrate proficiency in C programming for embedded systems, and possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ALSA driver development. Experience in Audio DSP programming and optimizing audio signals, expertise in Linux driver development and debugging for embedded systems, familiarity with audio hardware, protocols, and audio codecs, and a good understanding of real-time audio processing and low-latency requirements are essential for this role.
In addition to your technical skills, strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in embedded and audio-related issues, familiarity with audio software tools and development kits, and the ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment will be key to your success in this position.
