Job Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Admin Officer / Manager for our Chennai location. The role is full-time and involves acting as a critical link between the organization and external entities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in relationship management and conflict resolution, ensuring that all interactions align with the companys policies and vision.
Roles And Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing files, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain robust relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and partners.
  • License and permit management Process applications for new license and permits. Review and verify application information, Issue, renew and update licenses and permits in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records.
  • Compliance and Regulatory conduct regular audits to ensure all licenses and permits.
  • Well-versed in managing the university affiliation process, including the preparation and submission of necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed record and documentation of licensing activities. Generate reports on licensing status, compliance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Coordination and communication with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory issues.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment and order new supplies as needed.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and procurement processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of office facilities, including building infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.

  • Coordinate office renovations, repairs, and maintenance activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement emergency preparedness procedures.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Candidate must have an MBA in HR (Full Time), from a premier School, having relevant prior experience of 10 years.
  • Should have good experience with Anna University, Dr. MGR Medical University, DME, Govt. depts like Police, Tahsildar, Electricity, Telephone etc.
  • Proven experience in administrative management, with a focus on HR and facility operations.
  • The ideal candidate would also have experienced in university affiliation processes and a strong understanding in academic licensing requirements.
