Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and proficient CAD Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the integrity and reliability of pressure systems and other critical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting inspection ISO drawings
• Working with P&IDs and general arrangement drawings (GADs)
• Applying markups to technical drawings
• Compiling and organizing engineering data to support integrity assessment studies

This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in CAD tools, who is eager to contribute to the safety and performance of essential assets.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of drafting symbols and their application for tolerance, surface finish, fasteners, screw threads and welded joints. Requires guidance on non-routine problems.
• Prepares 3D CAD data and detailed design/manufacturing/weldment/assembly/general arrangement drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics, layouts, general arrangements and P&IDs.
• Intermediate knowledge of CAD software tool in application, viz. modeling, assembly, drawing, weldment, etc.
• Able to plan his/her own work and provide the time estimation for the assigned tasks.
• Basic knowledge of drafting and other standards governing tolerance, welding, surface finish, hydraulics symbols.
• Contribute to work-scope for corrosion circuits, data collation, and identification of credible corrosion threats as required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline in a relevant subject (e.g. Mechanical or allied, Corrosion, Materials, Metallurgy Engineering)

DESIRED

• Familiar with Oil & Gas codes/standards
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (Optional)

• Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in relation to the job description
• Good communicator, both written, verbal, and technical to make complex terminology simple for the benefit of others
