Computer Aided Design Drafter

OCS is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support our engineering and operational teams by creating and modifying technical drawings using CAD software. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining design accuracy and ensuring compliance with industry standards for our offshore and onshore oil & gas assets and projects.

What You Will Do

• Create, modify, and maintain detailed technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD tools.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and O&M teams to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.
• Review and interpret blueprints, layouts, and engineering specifications.
• Support Discipline Engineers and Document Controllers with project documentation as per OCS Document Management System.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with company, client, and industry standards and regulations.
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback or project changes.
• Maintain integrity of design through Change Management processes.
  
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Maintain and organize drawing templates, libraries, and related documentation.
• Stay updated on latest CAD software revisions and industry best practices.

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Production / Drafting / Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Drafter / CAD Technician in an engineering design consultancy or EPC company.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and familiarity with SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID) or AVEVA P&ID.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles, engineering standards, and symbols.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas production or petroleum industry design projects preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI-based design tools is an advantage.
• Certification from American Design Drafting Association or Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) preferred.
