Outcomes (First 12 Months):

• Pristine Due Diligence: Build and maintain a Pre Series A Ready data room with 100% audit-ready documentation for GST, TDS, and Ind AS compliance.
• Runway Mastery: Maintain a rolling 18-month forecast with <5% variance in actual vs. projected monthly burn.
• Lean Reporting: Reduce the monthly Financial Closing cycle to 4 business days to enable faster Build-Measure-Learn feedback loops.

  Implement a granular sub-ledger system to track Validated Learning ROI on R&D experiments within 90 days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Architecture: Design a tiered Chart of Accounts optimized for both Indian GAAP and the high-velocity requirements of Deep Tech startups.
• MIS Ownership: Own the full reporting stack. Move beyond static balance sheets to real-time dashboards that highlight Actionable Metrics over Vanity Metrics.
• Statutory Precision: Lead all tax and regulatory filings (GST, ROC, Income Tax) with surgical accuracy to ensure zero compliance drag during scaling.
• Strategic Steering: Act as the financial co-pilot to the founders, providing the data needed for critical Pivot vs. Persevere decisions.

• Technical Rigor: CA (Mandatory) with a deep grasp of Ind AS and R&D tax incentives.
• Efficiency Obsession: A Lean mindsetactively seeking to eliminate waste in financial processes.
• Analytical Honesty: The courage to report cold truths about burn and efficiency, even when it challenges the status quo.
• Startup DNA: 1-3 years of post-qual experience in high-uncertainty environments (Robotics, Startups, or Deep Tech)
