Part Time Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented part-time accountant with experience in VAT filing to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and is eager to contribute to the financial management of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Handle VAT returns and filings in compliance with local and international tax laws.
• Ensure VAT records and documentation are up-to-date and in line with regulations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring proper financial record-keeping.
• Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
• Monitor cash flow and manage business expenses.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support tax preparation and filing, including VAT and other relevant tax filings.
• 
  Provide regular updates and reports on VAT liabilities and refunds to management.
• Ensure internal controls and company policies are followed.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Respond to any VAT-related queries from tax authorities or internal departments.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Experience with VAT filing and knowledge of local VAT regulations is required.
• Strong knowledge of VAT-related tax compliance and reporting.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
