About The Opportunity
The Institutional product team is a specialized team focused on delivering products to institutional clients ranging from crypto native funds, buy side managers, corporations, market makers, OTC desks etc. We are a cross functional team working closely with Sales, Engineering, Design, Business Development and Marketing to identify potential client requirements, analyze the product gap, forge product strategy and deliver data driven commercial outcomes. The Institutional Product team serves our global clientele. Our team has extensive experience and knowledge of the financial service industry, trading products, DeFi, Web3 along with diverse work and cultural backgrounds.
What You ll Be Doing
Responsible for the strategy and planning of OKXs institutional products which include institutional trading systems, custody integrations, broker integrations, CLOB and OTC trade execution, risk control systems, and APIs.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Vision: Define and execute a clear product strategy, focusing on creating innovative and market-leading offerings in the crypto derivatives space. Anticipate market trends and user needs to drive product development.
- Comprehensive Product Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product development process conceptualizing, defining requirements, prototyping, through to development and launch. Ensure alignment with market needs and company goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced data analysis tools, including SQL and Python, to analyze large datasets, gain insights, and inform product design, features, and user experience improvements.
- Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product development is aligned with business strategy and executed efficiently.
- Market Launch and Scalability: Craft and implement go-to-market strategies to ensure successful product introduction and adoption. Collaborate with marketing to define product positioning and target customer segments, managing scaling efforts to expand product reach.
What We Look For In You
- Experienced in Product Management: A minimum of 8 years of work experience, with 4-6 years experience in product management, with a significant focus on product development in the crypto, DeFi, or traditional financial sectors.
- Expert in Data Analysis: Proficiency in using SQL and Python for data analysis is required. Experience in analyzing large datasets to drive product decisions, identify trends, and evaluate product performance.
- Strategic and Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated ability to develop products that meet market needs and exceed user expectations, with a track record of market disruption.
- Technical Proficiency and Market Understanding: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and financial markets, complemented by technical knowledge to drive the development of complex and competitive products.
- Leadership and Effective Communication: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills are essential for internal collaboration and external stakeholder engagement.

- Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field. Master s degree or professional certifications in data analysis, product management, or related disciplines are highly valued.
