Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a data-driven organic growth leader to own and scale Oliveboard's non-paid user acquisition engine.
This is a high-ownership role spanning SEO, ASO, YouTube, social media, and content strategy, with one north-star metric: growing organic traffic at scale.
1. SEO
- Own end-to-end SEO strategy covering technical SEO, on-page, and off-page, with clear traffic and ranking targets
- Conduct keyword research aligned with exam demand cycles and collaborated with content and tech teams on site health, schema, and Core Web Vitals
- Drive link-building initiatives and report on keyword rankings, organic sessions, and conversion via GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and GA4
- Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO): Optimise Oliveboard's content to appear in AI-generated answers across tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Reddit and Quora: Build and maintain a credible presence on high-intent discussion threads across Reddit and Quora, where exam aspirants actively seek recommendations and resources.
2. App Store Optimisation (ASO)
- Own ASO strategy for Oliveboard's Android and iOS apps to improve store visibility and organic install volume
- Run A/B tests on store creatives and metadata; coordinate with Product on ratings and release communications
- Drive organic growth of Oliveboard's YouTube channel through content planning, video SEO, and audience development
- Work with Faculty and Content teams on an upload calendar tied to exam cycles; optimise titles, thumbnails, and descriptions for discoverability
4. Organic Social Media
- Own organic social strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and X for audience growth and engagement
- Develop a content calendar in sync with exam calendars and result seasons; identify platform-specific formats to drive experimentation
- Leverage platforms like Quora and Reddit
5. Content Strategy
- Define and execute a blog content strategy targeting high-intent exam-related search queries
- Work with the content team on briefing, publishing workflows, and content distribution to maximise reach and backlinks
What We're Looking For:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in organic growth, SEO, or content marketing (consumer internet or edtech preferred)
- Demonstrable SEO expertise with a track record of driving meaningful traffic growth

- Hands-on experience with ASO for Android/iOS apps
- Understanding of YouTube channel growth mechanics and video SEO
- Experience managing organic social media channels with a focus on growth, not just content publishing
- Proficiency with GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and Google Play/App Store Connect
- Strong analytical thinking, high ownership mindset, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have:
- Experience in edtech or test prep, with familiarity of the Indian competitive exam ecosystem
- Understanding of CRM and lifecycle marketing to connect organic acquisition with downstream conversion
