The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for primary and secondary target achievement of the Our District i.e. Panipat, Karnal, Hisar, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Jind. The ideal will be responsible for entire Sales Domains activities i.e. General, Modern, Horeca, Institutional for Home Care/Personal Care categories. Adept at identifying and developing key clients for business excellence and accomplishment of targets.
Roles & Responsibilities:-
  • Primary and secondary target achievement of the area.
  • Monthly Sales planning and forecasting, taking into account the shelf life.
  • Channel Management
  • Month wise business forecasting, bench marking the previous year.
  • Allocate manpower in different areas depending upon the individual capabilities.
  • Competition tracking & making proactive plans to counter the new entrants.
  • Data & aligning with the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Mentor, motivate and guide team members ensuring sales - business generation and achieving budgeted figures, and activity ratio on monthly basis.
  • Cost Management
  • Training subordinates to develop requisite skills; conducting trainings on products, selling skills, lead prospecting and closing skills.

Desired Candidate Profile:-
  • Any graduate or Masters degree in Sales/Marketing preferred.
  • Required Strong experience (4 - 6 years) within FMCG especially in Home Care or Personal Care industry with a major focus on Rural Channel, General Trade & Modern Trade.
  • Possess Strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.
  • Possess exceptional relationship management skills & interpersonal skills.
  • Good team handling skills.
  • Should be a good team player or leader who can manage the headquarter business.
