Job Description

Omega Healthcare AR Team Lead (Physician Billing) Trichy


NOTE: We are looking only for candidates with PHYSICIAN BILLING (AR) experience.


Experience Required:

7+ years of relevant experience in Physician Billing Accounts Receivable (AR)

Minimum 1+ year of experience as Team Lead (On Papers Mandatory)


Key Responsibilities


Team Performance & People Management


  • Monitor team productivity, quality, attendance, and behavior.
  • Address performance gaps and initiate improvement plans.
  • Handle disciplinary matters and escalate serious concerns to the Operations Manager.

Technical & Process Knowledge


  • Strong understanding of AR Follow-ups, Denial Management, and Payment Posting.
  • Knowledge of Physician Billing guidelines and claim lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and client specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to payer guidelines and process updates.

Team Development


  • Conduct performance reviews along with the Operations Manager.
  • Identify training needs and ensure team skill enhancement.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to team members.

Daily Operations Management


  • Review daily productivity and quality reports.
  • Conduct daily huddles and communicate updates clearly.
  • Ensure SLA and KPI targets are achieved.
  • Approve leave requests through ERP systems.

Issue Resolution & Escalations


  • Resolve escalated AR and client-related issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.

    Act as the point of contact for team-related concerns.

Compliance & Administration


  • Complete required client and compliance training.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and evaluation of team members.

Other Responsibilities


  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the Operations Manager.

What Were Looking For:

Education: Any Graduate (No Backlogs)

Location: Trichy

Excellent communication and team management skills

Strong knowledge of Physician AR process

Experience in stakeholder and client management
