Job Description
HR Technology Analyst (Reporting)
The HR Technology team manages the foundational system platforms, as well as the business processes, in place to support the employee life cycle. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Technology, the HR Technology Analyst will support aspects of our HR Technology infrastructure, focusing specifically on the reporting needs within our Oracle HCM environment. In coordination with Omnicells IT team and the larger HR Technology organization, this role will assist with delivering data to leadership and end users by creating reports, infolets and dashboards to help drive data-driven decisions for the larger business. While it starts with understanding how the data is stored in the Oracle tables, our business need is really to have someone who understands the People function and can use data to help tell the Omnicell story.
Responsibilities
- OTBI Reporting & Analysis:
- Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards using Oracle OTBI.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Provide data-driven insights and reporting solutions to improve business performance.
- Data Integration:
- Integrate OTBI with other Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Oracle HCM, Oracle ERP) to ensure seamless data flow.
- Perform data analysis and extraction to support reporting requirements.
- Performance Tuning:
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing OTBI reports for improved performance and reliability.
- Work on large datasets to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on how to effectively use OTBI reports.
- Documentation & Support:
- Maintain detailed documentation for all OTBI reports and dashboards.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing OTBI reports as business needs evolve.
- Strong knowledge of OTBI architecture and reporting features.
- Proficiency in SQL and Oracle BI tools such as BI Publisher, OBIEE, or Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Experience in data analysis, report development, and dashboard creation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Oracle BI certifications or any relevant Oracle certifications.
- 1-5 years of HR Technology Analyst experience related to reporting
- Experience with request/incident management applications (ServiceNow, Oracle HR Helpdesk, and JIRA)
- Experience with workforce data & analytics platforms (Oracle HCM Cloud OTBI, Tableau, MS BI, HCM Analytics)
- Familiarity with Oracle Data Integration (ODI) or other ETL tools.
