We are seeking a senior-level Duck Creek Billing SME with at least 9 years of insurance domain experience and deep hands-on expertise in the Duck Creek Billing platform. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in configuring and integrating core billing functionalities such as invoicing, payments, collections, refunds, and commissions. Experience with tools like Duck Creek Author, Transact, and DataHub/Insights is a strong plus. The candidate should also have prior exposure to Duck Creek OnDemand (cloud deployments) and a solid understanding of billing lifecycle processes. Strong communication skills, the ability to work in Agile environments, and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools are preferred. Duck Creek Billing certification is desirable, and the candidate must be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading billing solution initiatives from end to end

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary SME for the Duck Creek Billing system across implementation, support, and enhancement initiatives.
• Lead configuration and development of core billing functionalities, including invoicing, payments, collections, refunds, write-offs, commissions, and disbursements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, development, QA, and stakeholder teams to define, design, and deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Analyze existing billing processes and recommend system improvements aligned with Duck Creek capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide long-term support and maintenance of the billing platform.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, design specifications, and support materials.
• 
  Guide internal teams and provide knowledge transfer on Duck Creek Billing features and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 9 years of experience in the insurance industry, with hands-on expertise in Duck Creek Billing.
• Strong understanding of Duck Creek configuration, architecture, and integration.
• Experience with Duck Creek Author, Transact, and DataHub/Insights is an advantage.
• Proven knowledge of premium billing, agency billing, payment plans, commissions, and other key billing functions.
• Experience integrating Duck Creek Billing with policy, claims, finance, and third-party systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployments, particularly Duck Creek OnDemand.
