Job Description
- As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining project scope, creating construction estimates, managing project budgets, and developing project management plans. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining the project scope
- Creating construction estimates based on material takeoffs (MTOs)
- Managing construction project budgets
- Developing construction project management plans
- Negotiating with general contractors and subcontractors for profitable contracts
- Developing construction schedules with project deliverables and milestones
- Managing construction resources such as materials, workers, and equipment
- Allocating and managing resource logistics
- Creating status reports for project stakeholders
- Overseeing the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and construction team members
- Obtaining building permits, licenses, and ensuring compliance with code regulations
- Maintaining health and safety standards
