Job Description

Location: Mumbai (Andheri E, MIDC) | In-office

Salary: ₹6,00,000 - 10,00,000 Per Annum

Experience: 1+ year in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a related field

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (10:30 am to 7:30 pm)

About the Job

We are looking for a motivated Academic Counselor to provide essential academic counseling and career guidance to prospective students.

The primary focus is helping students navigate course offerings and admissions requirements to drive enrollments and support student retention.

This role is ideal for candidates with excellent communication skills who want to guide students in the analytics industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized guidance to students on academic programs, curriculum, fees, and prerequisites.
  • Engage with leads and follow up with inquiries to drive student enrollments.
  • Conduct presentations, online counseling, and face-to-face meetings to explain course features and career opportunities.
  • Guide students through the end-to-end admission process, including application submissions and document verification.
  • Build positive relationships with students and parents to foster engagement and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and follow-up actions in the CRM.

  • Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to meet student intake targets and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a related field.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively engage students and their families.
  • Ability to stay updated on trends in education and analytics to provide insightful guidance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools for data management.
  • Competitive and enthusiastic personality suited for a target-driven environment.
