Job Description
What role you will play in team: You will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Oracle databases. You'll ensure the databases are highly available, secure, and performant.
What you will do: You'll perform database backups and recovery, monitor database performance, and implement security measures. You'll also work with developers to optimize database queries.
Key responsibility:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases.
- Perform database backups and recovery.
- Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain database security measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
- Work with developers to optimize database queries.
- Develop and maintain database documentation.
- Provide technical support to users.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a DBA.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database internals.
- Experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters).
- Experience with database performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
