Job Description
What role you will play in team: You’ll be part of a team responsible for the maintenance and support of Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Your technical expertise will be vital to our operations.
What you will do: You will troubleshoot database issues, perform routine maintenance, and provide technical support to users. You will contribute to database optimization efforts.
Key responsibility:
- Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of Oracle databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups and recovery.
- Provide technical support to database users.
- Implement and monitor database security measures.
- Collaborate with other engineers on database optimization projects.
Required Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Oracle Database administration.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with database performance tuning.
- Knowledge of database security best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL).
