About the Role :
Oracle NetSuite Professional Services is seeking a Principal Consultant to join the Functional Consulting team. This role involves working closely with customers, NetSuite implementation teams, partners, Project Managers, Sales, and Account Management teams to deliver successful NetSuite ERP implementations.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional consulting experience, customer-facing implementation expertise, and the ability to design scalable business solutions using NetSuite. This role requires a passion for helping customers improve business processes, manage change, and maximize value from their NetSuite investment.
Key Responsibilities :
As a Principal Consultant, you will :
- Gather, analyze, and document customer business requirements.

- Configure NetSuite applications to support customer business processes.
- Architect solutions for complex business requirements, including advanced configurations, customizations, automations, and integrations.
- Define detailed functional requirements for integrations and automation requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams to design, validate, and test custom solutions.
- Guide customers on leading practices and recommend process improvements.
- Manage customer scope, expectations, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Perform quality reviews of deliverables prepared by other team members.
- Support sales and account teams with solution reviews, scoping, estimation, and pre-sales discussions.
- Continue building NetSuite product expertise and pursue relevant certifications.
- Achieve or exceed billable utilization targets.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in ERP, SaaS, consulting, finance systems, or business applications.
- Ideally 2+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP implementation experience.
- Experience gathering requirements for complex customizations, integrations, and business process transformation.
- Strong functional consulting experience in customer-facing roles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customer priorities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence customers and guide them toward leading business practices.
- Experience working with both functional and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while delivering quality outcomes.
