Job Description
- The role of Business Analyst in the Banking Consulting team under Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) offers you an exciting opportunity to leverage your domain knowledge and skills in working with the latest generation of Oracle Banking products. As a member of the team, you will be involved in various activities related to Development, Implementation, and Managed Services as a Business Analyst. Your responsibilities will include leading or participating in functional team activities, documenting requirement specifications, analyzing business requirements, participating in functional design, and ensuring project success during implementations.
In this role, you will work closely with onsite stakeholders and client personnel to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the expectations of Oracle and the clients. You will be required to travel to client locations onsite, both within and outside of India, as needed for implementations and workshops. Additionally, you will be responsible for adhering to defined standards, processes, and change control procedures, as well as ensuring timely reporting and submission of deliverables.
Furthermore, having secondary skills such as basic SQL query writing, report writing, workflow/dashboard creation, knowledge of software development processes, testing tools, and awareness of the latest technologies in banking will be advantageous. The ideal candidate for this role should have 3 to 6+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in primary skill areas and a Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
In addition to technical skills, the ability to work in a high-pressure environment, willingness to travel to client locations, and flexibility to work on shifts based on project needs are essential requirements for this role.
