The Data Science Lead is responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that transform large-scale operational and enterprise data into predictive intelligence.
This role defines the end-to-end data science strategy, leads model development, and works closely with data engineering, platform engineering, and product teams to deploy scalable machine learning systems that drive data-driven decision making across the organization.
This role is based out of our Hyderabad, India office. We operate in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite, with the option to work remotely for up to two (2) days per week.
What Youll Do
AI / ML Strategy

• Define and execute the enterprise AI and data science strategy.
• Identify high-impact machine learning opportunities across operations, products, and customer solutions.
• Translate complex business problems into scalable data science solutions.
• Establish standards and best practices for model development and deployment.
  

Machine Learning Model Development

• Lead development of models across several domains such as:
  

Predictive Models

• Forecasting and demand prediction
• Operational performance prediction
• Equipment or asset utilization forecasting
  

Intelligence & Pattern Detection

• Behavioral pattern detection
• Anomaly detection
• Classification and clustering of operational data
  

Optimization Models

• Resource optimization
• Route and network optimization
• Cost and efficiency optimization
  

Production Machine Learning (MLOps)
Implement Scalable MLOps Pipelines Including

• Model training pipelines
• Feature stores
• 
  Model registry
• Model monitoring and drift detection
• Continuous retraining pipelines
• Experiment tracking and A/B testing

Who You Are
Youre a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:

• Education: Masters or PhD in: Data Science/Computer Science/ Statistics/ Applied Mathematics/ Artificial Intelligence.
• 8+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
• 3+ years leading data science initiatives or teams
• Experience deploying production machine learning systems
• Technical skills:
• Programming: Python, SQL, Spark / PySpark
• Machine Learning: Supervised learning, time series forecasting, clustering and segmentation, deep learning
• Platforms: Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, or similar), Kubernetes or containerized deployments
• Data Systems: Data lakes and warehouses, streaming data pipelines, feature engineering pipelines
• Preferred Experience:
• Large-scale enterprise data platforms
• Real-time analytics systems
• Knowledge graph or graph analytics platforms
• Vector search and embedding models
• AI-driven decision systems
