Global Digital Workplace Product Owner Smart Office

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Global Digital Workplace Product Owner – Smart Office owns the global strategy, architecture, standardization, and lifecycle of Smart Office workplace technology services across all Orbiaregions and BusinessGroups.

The role combines Endpoint Architecture and Senior Endpoint Engineering accountability. It ensures that smart office solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and user-centric, while providing clear globalstandards and a sustainable serviceroadmap.

The Product Owner acts as the highest technical authority (L3 SME) for services in scope and drives a consistent strategy the servicesimprovement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Smart Office ServiceOwnership

• Define and own theglobal Smart Office service strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Establish global standards, reference designs, and lifecycle models.
• Ensure alignment with Digital Workplace, Security, Infrastructure, and business strategies.

Collaboration & MeetingSpace Technology

• Own end-to-end services for collaboration devices and meeting room technology, including:
• Microsoft Teams Rooms
• Other Audio-video solutions for collaborati0on
• Teams telephony devices
• Define approved hardwareportfolios, configurations, and refresh cycles.
• Ensure proper licensing, inventory, devicemanagement and security standards for collaboration devices

Meeting Room, Desk & OfficeReservation Systems

• Own global servicesfor:
• Meeting room booking systems
• Desk and office reservation (hot-desking, flexible workspaces)
• Visitor and guest registration platforms
• Define integration standardswith Microsoft 365, identity, and access systems.

Digital Signage & Information Displays

• Own digital signageplatforms (e.g. ScreenCloud or equivalent).
• 
  Define governance, contentmodels, hardware standards, and security controls.

Printing Services (Non-logistics)

• Own the enterprise printing service, excludinglogistics and industriallabel printers.
• Define print architecture, security standards, and lifecycle management.
• Drive simplification, modernization, and cost optimization.

Physical Security Technology (CCTV – IT Scope)

• Act as IT Product Owner for CCTV and video surveillance platforms.
• Define IT architecture standards, cybersecurity requirements, and integration principles.
• Partner with Security, Facilities, and Legal on governance and compliance.

Engineering, Architecture &L3 Support

• Serve as globalL3 SME for Smart Officeservices.
• Design reference architectures, configuration baselines, and integration patterns.
• Support major incidents, complex escalations, and critical changes.

Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk

• Ensure services meet cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
• Maintain technical standards, policies, and servicedocumentation.

Vendor, Financial & Contract Management

• Manage global vendorsand managed serviceproviders.
• Support contract negotiations and commercial decisions.
• Monitor service costs,licensing, and budgetadherence.
• Identify continuous value and cost optimization opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the global point of contactfor Smart Office services.
• Align priorities and roadmaps with Business Relationship Managers and site leadership.
• Partner with Endpoint Operations, Field Services, Security, and Infrastructure teams to operationalize solutions.

Get Hired

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, or a relatedfield; or equivalent experience. Masters degree is a plus.

Skills:

• Teams telephony device management
• Printing solutions. Preferred certifications:
• Microsoft 365 / Endpoint / Collaboration
• ITIL, TOGAF,or equivalent

Experience

• 10+ years in IT services
• 7+ years in SeniorEngineer, Architect, or Product Ownerroles
• Proven experience delivering global Digital Workplace or endpoint services

Hands-on experience with:

• Microsoft Teams Rooms and collaboration devices
• Meeting room, desk, and visitor management platforms
• Digital signage solutions
• Enterprise printingservices
• CCTV / video surveillance platforms (IT architecture scope)
• Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and cloud integrations

Strong capability in:

• Service lifecycleownership and governance
• Global standardization
• Endpoint and IoT-likedevice security
• Vendor and contract management
• Continuous service improvement
