We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer/ lead to optimize site performance, enhance user experience, and align web strategy with business goals. Proficiency in PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and custom theme development is essential, along with strong SEO, server management, and responsive design expertise.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed requirement briefs for WordPress initiatives, convert them into technical specifications using agile methodologies, and manage projects through task automation and risk assessment to eliminate roadblocks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a WordPress website strategy that aligns marketing strategies with business objectives, ensuring compatibility with custom themes and plugins.
• Enhance user experience by conducting usability testing, optimizing WordPress themes and plugins, and utilizing design frameworks to improve functionality
• Ensure a seamless mobile experience through responsive CSS frameworks and compliance with data privacy (e.g., GDPR) and WCAG accessibility standards
• Perform SEO technical audits, implement structured data, optimize site speed, and manage SEO clean-up using advanced tagging strategies and schema markup for campaigns.
  

Key Competencies

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in web operations, front-end development, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Proficient in WP custom theme and plugin development.
• Experience with optimizing WordPress sites and PHP servers for high traffic.
• Familiarity with CDN services and configurations (e.g., Azure Front Door, Cloudflare).
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page and off-page optimization.
• Expertise in Google indexability, search console, and resolving technical SEO issues.
• A solid understanding of UX/UI best practices for websites.
