Job Description
- You should have significant experience working on e-commerce projects and websites, with a strong focus on portals. Your expertise should include JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, Object-Oriented Programming, MVC architecture, Struts/Spring, and Hibernate. The ability to design databases, analyze requirements, and propose solutions is essential. Proficiency in writing Pl/SQL statements is required.
Ideally, you are currently employed as a Senior Java Programmer, Team Lead, or Architect, managing a team of at least 3-4 individuals. Your background should encompass n-tier architecture, portal/website development, and familiarity with web services, particularly mobile-optimized website technologies. Effective communication with clients to grasp requirements and develop high-level designs is a key aspect of this role.
As a hands-on professional, you should possess excellent written and verbal English skills. The capability to comprehend design and development scopes independently, design architecture, and create database designs is crucial.
You must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Java programming for websites, portals, e-commerce, or mobile-based websites, with a total of 5-6 years in Java. Experience in mobile technologies for developing mobile-optimized websites and apps is preferred.

Proficiency in the following technical skills is required at a level of 80-90%: Java (Java 1.5 or newer, JSP, Servlets, J2EE, JDBC, Web Services), frameworks like Struts1.2/Struts2, Hibernate, Axis, and Log4j, Java Design Patterns (Singleton, Factory), J2EE Design Patterns (Business Delegate, DAO, Front Controller, MVC), servers such as Apache Tomcat 5 and beyond, databases like MySQL 5 and above, PL/SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Basic knowledge of HTML/XHTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary, as well as familiarity with Ajax Frameworks like jQuery/DOJO.
You should be comfortable working with tools like Eclipse, Dreamweaver, MySQLYog/AquaDataStudio/TOAD, Notepad++, and version control systems like Tortoise SVN. Knowledge of Jasper Reports, iReports, and optional skills like Ant script, JUnit, PMD, Checkstyle, and Basic Photoshop would be advantageous.,
