Head of Operations Luxury Surfaces & Handcrafted Products

Orvi is a luxury surface and lifestyle brand known for blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Our products include bespoke stone, metal, wood, and semi-precious inlays for high-end projects across India and abroad. We are looking for a hands-on Head of Operations to lead our production facility, streamline processes, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Control (PPC): Convert custom orders into detailed schedules and work orders, track WIP, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Process & Systems Implementation: Introduce and enforce lean practices (5S, Kaizen, quality systems) without compromising craftsmanship.

• People Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate artisans, supervisors, and technicians; build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintenance & Stores Management: Oversee preventive maintenance, inventory, and raw material planning to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Establish QC systems to ensure consistent global-quality finishes for handcrafted and machine-processed products.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with design, sales, and logistics teams for smooth execution of projects and support new product development.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Graduate in Engineering / Production / Industrial Management; MBA or Lean/6? certification preferred.
• Experience: 1015 years in high-mix, low-volume, craft-driven manufacturing. Background in furniture, jewellery, lifestyle exports, or luxury handcrafted products is highly desirable.
