Job Description

As a Central Functions Support, you will play a crucial role in assisting the board and the business in achieving their strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will span across various areas such as Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance, and more.
Your main focus will be on developing analytical models to predict and forecast user behaviors that align with business requirements and drive business growth. You will be required to communicate the results to management through data visualizations and presentations. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise in Machine learning, Deep learning, and AI algorithms to solve business cases or problems effectively.

In this role, you will deploy and integrate the developed models with other applications using Python and other related technologies for application development and deployment. It will be essential to create various documentations as part of the implementation process and ensure that the timelines set by the management are met for any change requests raised.
To excel in this position, you should hold a Masters Degree in a technical field such as Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Operations Research, or Physics. A minimum of 3 years of experience working within a corporation or consumer-focused environment is required.
Your proven expertise in data science and analytics, covering key areas like probability and statistics, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, optimization, and predictive modeling, will be vital for success in this role. You should be adept at cleaning and transforming messy data in Python and extracting data from SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Hands-on experience with cloud services, particularly MS Azure, is necessary. You should also have experience in fast prototyping using open source technologies like R and Python, as well as implementing machine learning solutions in Python, R, or similar languages. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, D3, R-Shiny, Dash, etc., is advantageous.
Your ability to develop, train, evaluate, and present statistical models will be put to good use. Experience with front-end development for data analytics applications and key software development processes such as testing and version control using git repositories will be beneficial in this role.
Furthermore, your collaborative skills with data scientists, software developers, business partners, and other stakeholders will be essential. Experience with agile methodology and project management practices is highly desired for this position.,
