Market Risk Analyst

Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Market Risk team as Market Risk Analyst reporting to the Head of Market Risk. The team is responsible for monitoring and supporting trading activities of multiple trading locations across the globe.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring trading positions for alerts


• Provide support to trading locations


• Ensure that risk management process and policies are followed by all trading staff


• Applying limits to trading accounts


• Assisting in projects to develop internal risk management applications


• Field queries from the trading, finance and clearing brokers


• Set up of new contracts in internal systems


• Review procedures and process regularly to ensure adherence to internal and regulatory frameworks


• Managing daily trade and position reconciliations and ensure all breaks are resolved


• 
  Accurately monitoring margin utilization and allocation


• Proactively engage and develop relationships with other trading and operations teams


• Ensure all communications reflect OSTC’s core values

Qualifications

Skills Requirement

• Fluent English written and verbal


• Strong organization skills and attention to detail


• Enthusiastic


• Ability to work under pressure and to manage several projects simultaneously


• Able to work independently and use own initiative


• Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification


• Advanced excel / VBA


• Proficient programming skills would be viewed favorably but not essential


• Keen interest in the financial markets

Please Note - it's a night shift job and the shift timings are as below.

• 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM IST – Mon to Thurs


• 9:00 PM - 4:30 AM IST - Friday


• Flexibility to work on Sunday evening starting 5:30 PM IST
