Public Relations Officer

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage and coordinate all government-related matters, visa processing, and compliance with UAE labor laws and immigration procedures. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in dealing with MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, GPSSA, NAFIS and be fully conversant with the requirements for both mainland and free zone visa processes.

• Handle all employee visa processing, renewals, cancellations, and transfers (Mainland & Freezone).
• Liaise with MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation) and ensure full labor law compliance.
• Manage tasks related to GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs) and ICP (Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship).
• Handle company licensing and renewal documentation with relevant authorities.
• Maintain updated knowledge of NAFIS requirements and compliance reporting.
• Process all GPSSA related formalities and employee registration.
• Support internal teams with onboarding and offboarding formalities from a government relations perspective.
• Ensure company records, employee files, and legal documents are compliant and up to date.

• Minimum 2 years UAE experience in a similar PRO role.
• Strong working knowledge of UAE Labor Law, MOHRE processes, and visa policies.
• Proven experience with both Mainland and Freezone visa formalities.
• Sound knowledge of GDRFA, ICP, GPSSA, and NAFIS procedures.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written preferred).
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
