As a talented writer with proficiency in English, you will play a crucial role at Outlier by contributing to the training and refinement of generative AI models. This freelance position offers flexibility and allows you to work remotely based on your preferred schedule, ensuring convenience while collaborating in the improvement of AI systems utilized by leading global companies.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating and ranking AI-generated responses to discern high-quality outputs, as well as crafting and refining prompts that aid AI systems in comprehending human intent and context effectively. Additionally, you will review AI workflows to pinpoint areas for enhancement in content generation, conduct thorough research and fact-checking to uphold the accuracy of AI outputs, and assess the factuality, relevance, and coherence of AI-generated content.
To excel in this role, you should possess experience as a professional writer or editor, along with a writing-related educational background (associate degree or higher from an accredited institution). Exceptional English language skills, encompassing a strong command of grammar, spelling, and writing style, are essential. Advanced critical thinking and reasoning abilities are required to evaluate content quality, while meticulous attention to detail and the capability to articulate text strengths and weaknesses clearly are also crucial. An interest in contributing to the advancement of AI technology is highly desirable.

Please note that this opportunity is a 1099 contract on the Outlier.ai platform. As this is a freelance position, Outlier does not provide internships, sponsorship, or employment.
