Position Summary
The Finance Shared Services Leader will provide ongoing leadership for the Accounting and Cash Application teams at the finance shared services center based in Bangalore, India to complement its existing service centers. The Bangalore location is the global hub of a network of service centers that operate under generally standard processes and procedures and utilize Oracles ERP software solution.
The Position Will Require Significant Process Expertise Related To Shared Service Center Operations. The Process Streams To Be Supported Will Be

• AR Cash application & collection support activity
• Fixed asset & Cash accounting
• Intercompany accounting
• Expense accounting (S,G&A)
  

The position will require extensive and effective communication across functions and with senior financial management, including the Chief Accounting Officer and financial personnel in our business lines and global operations.
Responsibilities
This Finance Shared Services Leader will be responsible for the Accounting and Cash Application team operations of Companys Bangalore based Shared Services Center, including continuous improvement of processes and internal controls as well as contributing to the overall vision for Companys shared services evolution.

• Manage the operations of the Accounting and Cash Application teams in the India Shared Service Center including hiring and training staff, implementation of standard business processes and governance for identified processes in-scope as documented in our finance blueprint.
• Manage performance to targeted Global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with delivery of desired service level to the business.
• Exercise fiscal oversight for the India Shared Service Center.
• Manage the India Shared Service Center in accordance with the established global service delivery model, operating model, process framework, and governance while also collaborating with other members of the shared services leadership team relative to our strategy around shared service capabilities and trends.
• Manage staff in accordance with Company policies and applicable local legislation, including planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
• Provide directional guidance to management team for all process areas included in the scope of shared services. Integrate finance processes of new acquisitions into the India Shared Service Center.
• Work closely with teams across the shared services organization and in the business to identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies (including the ERP IT team).
• Manage ongoing finance operations while also taking on ad hoc projects.
• Provide Senior Finance Management globally and supported units with regular communication of performance against desired service levels.
• Represent Finance team on key committees as designated by the Chief Accounting Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA or Chartered Accountant certification or other similar qualification.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including 6-10 years of experience in global shared service center leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting skills and demonstrated ability to work in SOX controlled environment.
• Knowledge of financial systems skills and reporting tools (experience with Oracle & PeopleSoft a plus).
