Job Description
- Oxeonix Global is seeking highly skilled Data Center Network L2 Engineers with over 5 years of experience to be a part of our team for a continuous dispatch project spanning various locations in India. As a Data Center Network L2 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure the seamless operation of data center networks.
Your key responsibilities will include performing network operations and troubleshooting within the data center, offering L2 support for network issues encompassing routing and switching, monitoring network performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams for network upgrades, ensuring the high availability and security of the network infrastructure, and handling the configuration, maintenance, and installation of networking equipment.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in providing data center network support at the L2 level. Hands-on experience with networking technologies like routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers is essential. Moreover, a strong knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and switching technologies like VLANs, STP, VTP is required. Familiarity with network monitoring tools, understanding of data center architecture, and network security practices are also necessary. Possession of certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent will be considered an advantage. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
We are currently looking to hire for the following cities in India: Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Pune, and Bangalore.
