The India accounting team is searching for a Senior Accountant. This person will report to the Assistant Controller/Manager and be responsible for the general accounting, forecasting and financial reporting for PACCAR India.

The India accounting team is searching for a Senior Accountant. This person will report to the Assistant Controller/Manager and be responsible for the general accounting, forecasting and financial reporting for PACCAR India.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- This person will be responsible for general accounting and financial analysis.
- Prepare various journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Review office spending and reconcile payments to the bank statement.
- Record vendor payment detail provided.
- Compile and analyse overhead spending.
- Analyse monthly financial results and prepare management reporting package.
- Prepare monthly financial forecast.
- Support annual budgeting process.
- Support local tax such as GST, audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Coordinating with auditors for timely closure of statutory audit and tax audit.
- Participate in Internal Control reviews, SOX testing and various special projects and ad hoc reports as assigned.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Attention to detail with a “big picture” focus
- Ability to influence and work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Must be a self-starter, able to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure with deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills
- Strong Microsoft office skills – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Understanding of I. GAAP and Internal Controls
- Fluent in English
Required
- Certified Charter Accountant
- Bachelors Degree
- Strong understanding of relevant Indian accounting standards (I-GAAP), with a knowledge of US GAAP a plus

- Bachelors degree in Accounting
