Sr. Data Science Engineer (Remote)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Science Developer to lead the development of advanced data-driven solutions that support business decision-making and product innovation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data engineering, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and predictive algorithms.
• Work with large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to model deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Implement data pipelines and automate data processing workflows using Python, Spark, or similar technologies.
• Ensure models and code are reproducible, well-documented, and maintainable.

• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in data science, AI, and machine learning.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), R, or Scala.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Expertise in SQL and data wrangling with large datasets.
• Experience with data platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, or AWS/GCP/Azure.

• Solid understanding of statistical techniques and predictive modeling.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Knowledge of deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, transformers).
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision is a plus.
• Familiarity with MLOps and CI/CD for ML projects.
• Prior experience leading projects or mentoring teams.
