Job Purpose:

The Dairy - Area Sales Manager will oversee our client business in Maharashtra. This role involves leading the sales teams, building strategies, and driving growth to achieve revenue targets for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead sales operations and drive strategic direction for sales teams.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business.

Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services to farmers.

Lead, hire, and manage direct sales team members, ensuring high performance and meeting sales goals.

Oversee the product and brand profit/loss, ensuring targets are met.

Supervise and evaluate sales performance across different products or regions.

Contribute to building a growing business in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in Dairy/Cattle Feed Sales.

Proven track record in business growth and managing sales teams in rural areas.

Strong network and relationships with farmers in the region.

Ability to manage a direct team of at least 4 employees.

Experience with distributor sales and brand management.

Willingness to travel extensively (100% travel required).

Experience in FMCG or Animal Health/Dairy Feed companies.

Exposure to managing geographic expansion and profitability within assigned territories.

Interview Process:

Two rounds of interviews with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Commercial Director - Dairy Feed.

Preference for face-to-face interviews.
