Business Analyst - Capital Markets

We are looking for a highly driven Business Analyst with strong Capital Markets expertise to join our growing team. In this role, youll play a key part in analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements, while supporting system integration and user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate has a solid background in financial services or capital markets, a sharp analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users to evaluate reconciliation requirements and liquidity reporting needs.
• Capture, analyze, and document current (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) business processes.
• Create user stories, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams for bespoke reconciliation solutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of the existing system landscape and design solutions aligned to it.

• Propose viable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions that meet business and regulatory needs.
• Build high-level project plans and provide ongoing project implementation support.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to gather full requirements and define an end-state solution.
• Prepare and articulate requirements to create RFP documents for identifying suitable COTS solutions.
• Support client operations through training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Ensure delivery within tight timelines, adhering to internal control, quality assurance, and governance standards.
• Act as a key liaison between business, technology, and project teams to drive execution and closure.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of capital markets and trade booking/lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with capital market systems such as Summit, Numerix OneView, Murex, Calypso, or similar platforms.

  Solid understanding of Liquidity Analysis, Liquidity Management, and related reporting.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, features, and capabilities.
• Strong expertise in investment banking processes, capital markets operations, and valuation functions.
• Proven ability in requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design for complex financial systems.
• Experience with reconciliation processes and exception/case investigation workflows.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and drive discussions to consensus.
• Strong documentation, communication (verbal & written), and spreadsheet skills.
• Experience using process modeling tools such as Visio, Balsamiq, or M4RD.
• Ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams, often remotely.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive initiatives to closure with minimal supervision.
