Senior Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full-Stack Developer to join our Core Operations team supporting mission-critical financial systems such as iDesk and GTFP. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with modern Java technologies, front-end frameworks like React, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and a deep understanding of SDLC best practices in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Understand functionality and integrations of core applications such as iDesk and GTFP
• Document local setups, build/deployment processes, and application architecture
• Analyze and document data flows and impacted integration areas
• Participate in meetings and coordinate with onsite/offshore teams
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve bugs in a timely manner
• Ensure high performance of applications and deliver high-quality code following SDLC best practices
• Maintain existing application performance and ensure alignment with CITs landscape and standards

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in web application development using Java/J2EE stack
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSP, JSF, JavaScript, and Servlets
• Hands-on experience with React.js and Web Services

• Strong understanding of AWS components Lambda, ECS, S3, and monitoring via CloudWatch
• Proficient with DevOps tools Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.
• Familiarity with Java Messaging Systems and security vulnerability resolution processes
• Financial domain experience is a plus
