Job Description

About The Role
  • We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Scientist to join our team.
  • You will play a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from our data to drive informed decision-making across the organization.
  • You will leverage your expertise in statistics, machine learning, and programming to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex business problems.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data science projects.
  • Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets for analysis.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve specific business problems (e.g., classification, regression, recommendation systems).

  • Evaluate and validate the performance of machine learning models.
  • Communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences through clear and concise visualizations and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science methodologies and tools.
  • Document your work thoroughly for future reference and collaboration.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Maintain a high standard of coding practices and software development principles.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) a plus.
  • Experience with data wrangling and data cleaning techniques.
  • Understanding of database concepts (SQL) a plus.
  • Curiosity and passion for exploring and uncovering insights from data.
