Job Description

Position : ZVP- Sales (South Zone)

exp : 15-18 yrs in FMCG/Beverages industry

Areas Covered : Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Kerala

Position reports to : VP-Sales

People reporting to him: Cluster Business Head, Business Managers, Business Head and support teams in regional offices

1) Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Business Head, Cluster Business Head and Managers. Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure team success.

2) Sales Performance:

  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets within the zone. Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions to address any shortfalls.

3) Market Understanding:

  • Possess a deep understanding of the local market, including consumer behavior, competitor activities, and distribution channels.

4) Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers within the zone.

5) Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.

6) Budget Management:

  • Manage the sales budget for the assigned zone and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the local market and distribution channels.
