Job Description
- As an Accountant specializing in export documentation and billing, your role involves preparing financial documents for international trade to ensure compliance with customs regulations and tax laws. You will be responsible for managing billing for export transactions and coordinating with freight forwarders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
- Maintain ledgers, financial reports, and perform bank reconciliations
- Process GST and TDS in compliance with relevant tax laws
- Generate financial statements and MIS reports using accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, and Excel
- Handle foreign currency management and international banking activities
Qualifications Required:
- Strong knowledge of export procedures and taxation
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books
