Job Description
- Role Overview:
You will be responsible for driving the delivery of team goals, defining objectives and technical strategies across multiple teams within your group or with partner teams. Taking ownership of the design, architecture, development, quality, and production environment deployment of systems with a lasting impact. Designing and implementing robust, scalable backend solutions to address technical and business challenges. Collaborating effectively as a leader within your group, working with cross-functional teams to drive synergies and alignment. Representing your team in design reviews, contributing to group-wide architectural decisions, and seeking opportunities for scalable and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive team goals and define objectives and technical strategies.
- Own the design, architecture, development, quality, and production deployment of systems.
- Design and implement robust, scalable backend solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Navigate trade-offs in solving problems considering technical and business implications.
- Seek opportunities to address group-level challenges and drive scalable solutions.
- Validate group quality and delivery standards, mentor engineers, and participate in the hiring process.
- Mentor and onboard engineers and contribute to the hiring process.
Qualifications Required:
- 7+ years of experience in backend software engineering with technical leadership expertise.
- Proficiency in C# is a must.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with database management systems.
- Hands-on experience with message queues or streaming platforms like RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.

- Practical experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and building scalable systems.
- Ability to solve novel and complex problems, influence other teams, and mentor engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent is required.
