Summary: About Role: As a Data Product Analyst, you will work with stakeholders to define state-of-the-art, large-scale data platforms for PayPal credit business. Gives you opportunity to work on a petabyte scale data platform using the latest cloud technologies that enables the critical business decisions for PayPal credit business. Join the data platform product team, to solve data problems, and impact product strategy through data-driven solutions. About Team: Credit data platform product team is responsible for building best-of-breed data solutions using cutting-edge technologies that deliver high business value. Team is led by a lead product owner with different product owners for each credit business vertical (Consumer Revolve Credit, Bill Now Pay Later (BNPL) and Merchant Credit). You will be part of one of the credit data platform business verticals, responsible for understanding the business needs and define the data platform for credit business.

Your Day to Day:

• Partnerships with business stakeholders, business leads, subject matter experts, and technical staff to gather and develop business needs in technical requirements.


• Collaborate closely with the engineering team and provide ongoing support to help implement end-user requirements


• Ensure the consistency and quality of data solutions completed by the engineering team.



• Identifying and refining current and future‐state business processes by performing deep-dive analysis of the current state and proposing future state solutions effectively using clear and precise documentation


• Firm understanding of business processes and data platforms to design and deliver scalable data solutions to support customer needs

What do you need to bring:

• 10+ year industry experience with 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst


• Ability to work with business leads, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical staff to gather and develop business needs in the form of technical requirements


• Collaborate closely with the engineering team and provide ongoing support to help implement end-user requirement.


• Good understanding of database principles and hands-on experience in advanced SQL to perform complex analysis.


• Expert knowledge of data modelling concepts, experience with data modelling and generating metadata to support relational & non-relational database implementations; experience building logical and physical data models.


• Ensure the consistency and quality of data solutions completed by the engineering team.
