About the role:

This is a high-energy, revenue-driving, relationship-first role where you will own client outreach, meetings, and pipeline building. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to convert conversations into long-term partnerships.

Were also looking for someone with a strategic BD mindset. Beyond day-to-day outreach, you will help us figure out what BD motions work best, which segments to double down on, how to approach different buyer personas, and how to improve our pitches and conversion over time.

What youll do :

  • Build pipeline and drive revenue
  • Identify and build a strong pipeline of target accounts and decision-makers
  • Run outbound initiatives across email, LinkedIn, calls, and referrals to generate meetings
  • Own end-to-end BD follow-through, from first conversation to commercial discussions and handover

Client relationships and meetings :

  • Build and maintain relationships with key prospects and existing clients in your territory
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual meetings with targeted accounts
  • Understand hiring needs deeply and position Peepals offerings clearly

Account mining and strategic expansion

  • Identify whitespace inside existing accounts and expand into new teams, roles, and business units
  • Support client mining and talent mapping efforts to strengthen partnership depth
  • Track stakeholders, org changes, and opportunities with strong CRM hygiene

BD strategy and improvement (how we win more)

  • Identify patterns from wins and losses and suggest improvements to outreach, pitches, and sequencing
  • Contribute to segment strategy: which industries, roles, and client types to prioritize
  • Share insights from the field to help refine messaging, positioning, and approach

Operating cadence and execution

  • Maintain daily activity discipline and weekly reporting
  • Participate in regular reviews and drive accountability on your own pipeline goals
  • Work closely with delivery and leadership to ensure smooth execution post-win

Tools and systems

  • Learn and use CRM and prospecting tools to run BD efficiently (CRM, Apollo-like tools, email/LinkedIn sequencing tools)
  • Keep your CRM clean and updated so pipeline visibility is always strong

Key skills

Mandatory

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and confident stakeholder handling
  • Ability to engage clients, ask the right questions, and drive strong first conversations
  • High ownership, consistency, and follow-through
  • Comfort with targets, cold outreach, and structured daily activity
  • Not afraid of rejection and able to persevere with energy and maturity
  • Strong organization skills (notes, trackers, CRM updates, meeting prep)
  • Willingness to learn and operate tools quickly (CRM + outreach/prospecting stack)
  • Strategic mindset to improve BD motions, messaging, and conversion over time
  • Comfort with data and basic analysis (pipeline, conversions, win-loss learning)

Good to have :

  • Prior experience in recruitment services sales, staffing, RPO, or HR services
  • B2B sales exposure (especially outbound, lead gen, and meeting conversion)
  • Content skills for outreach (copywriting, LinkedIn messaging, email sequences)
  • Event networking experience and relationship-led selling
  • Hands-on experience using CRMs (Zoho or similar) and prospecting tools like Apollo

Big bonus: you have experience in sales and have owned outcomes end-to-end, including having run your own business, driven B2B initiatives, or built pipelines from scratch.

Experience were looking for

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in B2B Business Development / Sales / Client Acquisition (recruitment or HR services sales is a strong plus)
  • Track record of building pipeline and delivering outcomes through consistent outreach, meetings, follow-ups, and conversions (targets, meetings booked, accounts won)
