Accounting Specialist Remote

What You ll Be Doing

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, vendor statements, and intercompany transactions.
• Support payroll processing and related compliance filings.
• Monitor expense reports, corporate card transactions, and ensure accurate allocation of costs.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
  
  

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification is a plus).
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or fast-paced startups.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
