Director - Operations
Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our Electronics Business vertical at Sileaf Technologies. This senior leadership role will drive the growth of our power electronics portfolio, with a strong focus on solar inverters, controllers, and related renewable energy products.
You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding overseas technology partners, leveraging global power electronics supply chains, and establishing new business lines to accelerate revenue growth in domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall strategy, P& L, and growth for the Electronics Business vertical (power electronics, solar inverters, controllers, and related products).
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and establish long-term partnerships with overseas technology partners for co-development, technology transfer, manufacturing, or supply collaboration.
- Build and manage a robust understanding of the global power electronics supply chain, including key players (e. g., Infineon, ON Semiconductor, Mitsubishi Electric, ABB, Sungrow, etc.), component sourcing (SiC/GaN modules, semiconductors, passives), pricing dynamics, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive new business development initiatives from market identification and lead generation to closing high-value deals with OEMs, system integrators, EPC players, and international clients.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development and implementation lifecycle for electronics products, ensuring alignment with market needs, cost targets, quality, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with R& D, engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to launch competitive products in solar inverters and power electronics segments.
- Monitor industry trends in renewables, solar, EV charging, energy storage, and power conversion to recommend new opportunities and innovations.
- Represent the company at industry forums, trade shows, and partner meetings to build strong networks and brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in electronics product development, manufacturing, and implementation (preferably in power electronics, inverters, controllers, or renewable energy systems).

- Demonstrated ability to establish and drive new business with a track record of revenue growth, new market entry, or successful P& L ownership in the electronics/renewable sector.
- Strong preference for candidates with direct solar inverter experience (on-grid/off-grid, string/central inverters, MPPT controllers, etc. ).
- Experience in selecting and managing overseas technology partners for joint development, licensing, or co-manufacturing.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in solar water pumping systems, renewable energy products, or related power electronics applications.
- Familiarity with key global players in power semiconductors (Infineon, STMicro, Wolfspeed, etc. ) and the solar inverter ecosystem.
- An MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a mid-sized manufacturing company.
