Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of SQL Server-based solutions.
- Optimize and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Review code and mentor junior developers to ensure best practices in database development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, data integrity problems, and connectivity issues.
- QL Server Development (2016 and above)
- T-SQL (Advanced proficiency)
- Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Views
- Query Optimization & Performance Tuning
- Indexing Strategies
- Database Design & Normalization
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- ETL Development & Data Migration
- Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Experience leading or mentoring a development team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Agile / Scrum methodology experience
