About our client

We are working on an exciting opportunity with a global private investor based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to hire a Quant Principal or Director to lead their asset allocation and portfolio construction team.

What the job involves

• Creating and maintaining quantitative tools and models to aid with strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions
• Development and implementation of the investors asset allocation strategy
• Development of tools to monitor macroeconomic and market conditions that will help to identify potential investment opportunities
• Developing and maintaining investment risk IT systems

Who we are looking for

• A background in asset allocation and strategy with a sizeable investment corporation
• Strong programming skills e.g. Python

• Strong market monitoring capabilities, having worked across private markets
• Sound judgement and grounding in risk measurement and monitoring with a focus on the overall portfolio strategy
• A high degree of economic literacy on private markets with an understanding of different asset classes
• A commercial nature upon viewing potential business plans and opportunities
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, for example machine learning, AI, economics, finance, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or physics
